animal hide can become either parchment or dokhsostos (writing surface on the hairy side of the animal hide)
for
tefillin or mezuzah.

but either way,
"shema yisrael" is written onto the skin.

the male gaze v the female gaze

when men look at women: judging & publicly undressing women, dismiss their hour-glass curves as white geese.

and when women look at men: they are to be inspired by the vine-like beauty to be productive.

(or so he says)
